Thank you for the e-mail Jana. Yes they can install fiberglass shingles over SolarBord. Always keep in mind that radiant barriers must have a minimum of 3/4″ air space in front of the foil to work. Solarbord should be fastened the same as any other OSB roof sheathing. When correctly installed, Solarbord can reduce radiant heat transfer through the roof by as much as 97% and it can reduce your attic temperatures by up to 30°F.
